Summary |
He had a scar on his face, crooked nose, light skin and brown hair, and crooked teeth. No wait, the scars were on his arms, marks like you get from the soldier games, a gimpy leg and more tattoos than empty flesh. Ah wait that's not right, he had piercing blue eyes, dark face covered in freckles, and a grin you could cut yourself on. Ran out of here like the wind, dunno how he escaped with that that exotic red hair but the guards must have just missed him. Anyway, he was a right bastard. |
Timothy was a happy child. Though his parents were sometimes strict and his tutors stiff and boring, he dutifully completed his lessons and faithfully listened to his parents instructions. Afterwards when he had time to himself he would indulge in his favorite pastime, storytelling.
Timothy would go out and regale the other kids with fantastic tales about what his family got up to, complete with illusory assistance. So what if all of them weren't strictly true? They had fun, he had fun and the story about the scar he got from fighting that pack of Ursaring all by himself really made him popular with the girls.
All of that changed with the Unraveling, friends that used to go everywhere with him vanished overnight and those that used to come over at night to eat, chat, and listen to stories wouldn't spare his family the time of day. Life became unbearable for Timothy, so why bear it?
The people in his stories never had such troubles, and soon neither did he. He went out at nights when his mother was exhausted and and his elder sister was busy with her fortunes to keep track of him. He was a travelling merchant having fun in one of the nearby tribes for the night, a seasoned warrior who heard about the strength of the Malachite and their valuable equipment come to join, a faceless cutpurse in the dark, a beautiful maiden with a face that could overturn tribes gladly accepting gifts from erstwhile suitors. He had his fun and was back by morning the next day, and if his exploits caused trouble for that kinslayer Mrald, all the better.
When it finally came time for mother to send them out and seek vengeance for the tribe he only had one thing to say "What took you?"

Pokémon with the Illusionist Capability can create minor visual Illusions as a Standard Action. These may be no more than half a meter in any dimension and produce no sensory sensations outside of sight. Any physical contact noticeably disrupts an Illusion, and all other effects that see through Illusions can do so. Otherwise, the Illusion appears life-like and can be made to move, though it cannot move further than the user’s Focus Rank in meters away from the user. Actively manipulating the Illusion requires constant attention from the user. For minor effects such as making an illusionary flame dance, this requires the user to constantly spend its Swift Actions. For more major effects such as animating an illusionary skeleton, the user must constantly spend Standard Actions. If a Pokémon gains the Illusion Ability and does not have the Illusionist Capability, they gain Illusionist.
Pokémon and Trainers with Aura Pulse are blessed by a great power. They can project their thoughts using Aura, straight into the minds of those they wish to communicate with. They can read the surface thoughts of minds in return, but only minds that open up to them willingly.
